En plein air “in open air” refers to the act of painting outdoors to capture the essence of a subject by incorporating natural light and color.

The Nanticoke Historical Society is announcing its En Plein Air Event on Saturday, July 26 __ Rain date Sunday July 27, 2025

Sign In  – 8 to 10 a.m.  – Cultural Centre of St. Faustina, 35 West Church Street, Nanticoke.

Paint - Artists will work outdoors on one of a few chosen city subjects

The Society has many donated items that need to be restored. In this section we will show completed projects as well as projects need attention. If you would like to sponsor a project, please let us know by calling our office 570-258-1367 or emailing NHS63@comcast.net

First Item

COMPLETED - This completed project was recently sponsored by Mark Wolfe of Wolf Frames. The certificate signed by President Woodrow Wilson was re-matted and framed for preservation.
