Many people think that donating means a monetary donation, however, at our Historical Society we not only accept monetary donations (which we greatly appreciate) we also accept donations of photos, artifacts, and anything at all that comes from our community. We also have been working with many individuals to loan us their photos for us to scan and add to our database. We will gladly pay postage for you to send them to us and we will return them to you, or if you are computer savvy, you can scan and send them to us. To contact us with a donation, please call us at 570.258.1367 or email us at

We are currently in need of volunteers to help with photograph classification, filing, data entry, sorting, and updating our current inventory of historical data. Please call if you are interested, for it takes many to continue with the progress. We need your help desperately! Call 570.258.1367.
